Movie giant hits back with heart

BEIJING, July 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Entertainment movie giant Walt Disney Corp is unveiling a "patriotic" film this week, seen by many as a counter-attack to the anti-Bush documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.

While Disney insists the release of America's Heart and Soul on Friday is unconnected with Michael Moore's record-breaking documentary, his conservative critics say Disney's release makes them proud to be American, reported Thursday's CRI online.

Howard Kaloogian, chairman of Move America Forward, which has spearheaded a boycott campaign of Fahrenheit 9/11, said this unusual film is inspirational.

Moore's film made $34 million at the box office in its North American debut, more than any other documentary in history.
