SUZHOU, June 30 (Xinhuanet) -- The World Heritage Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) inscribed eight new sites on the World Heritage List here Wednesday at the ongoing 28th session of the committee, including five natural and three cultural sites.
The committee also approved the extension of three sites already inscribed on the World Heritage List, according to a press release issued by the committee on Wednesday night. Enditem
