BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Three kinds of wrist-watches have been launched in Beijing to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping.กก

The watches, complete with a portrait of Deng Xiaoping, are made of platinum, gold and stainless steel, CRIENGLISH.com reported Wednesday.

Only 100 platinum watches were made, while the number of gold watches is limited to 1,000.

Deng Xiaoping, a native of Guang'an County in southwest Sichuan Province, masterminded China's reform and opening-up drive, which was introduced nationwide in 1978.
