Canada's opposition leader concedes defeat

     OTTAWA, June 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Canada's opposition Conservative Party leader Stephen Harper conceded defeat to Prime Minister PaulMartin's Liberal Party in Monday's parliament election.

    With all polls closed and the majority of them reporting, the Liberals are winning or elected in 133 ridings, the Conservative in 91, the Bloc Quebecois in 56 and the New Democratic Party in 26.Enditem
