BAGHDAD, June 23 (Xinhuanet) -- Foreign workers started to move out of Iraq on Wednesday, a day after the beheading of South Korean hostage Kim Sun-il, the satellite-channel Al-Jazeera reported.

The leaving workers are mostly from Asian, European and Arab countries, it said.

ĦĦĦĦThe Iraqi newspaper Al-Nahdhadh reported that 670 South Koreans working in Iraq have been ordered to leave before the end of this month.

Kim Sun-il, 33, a translator for a South Korean company providing supply for US troops in Iraq, was beheaded by the kidnappers belonging to a militant group allegedly linked to al-Qaeda, after Seoul rejected their demands to drop plans to send 3,000 troops.

The body of Kim was later found by the US military dumped on the road from Baghdad to Fallujah. Enditem
