Israeli Apache helicopters shell metal workshop in central Gaza

    GAZA, June 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Apache helicopters fired threemissiles at a blacksmith shop in the central Gaza Strip refugee camp of al Maghazi Saturday night, security sources and witnesses said.

    The said that two Apache helicopters hovered over the area and then fired three missiles at the shop and destroyed the entrance into the refugee camp.

    Medical sources said that three people were lightly injured, adding that the place was totally destroyed.

    Shortly before midnight on Friday, Israeli helicopters fired five missiles at two metal workshops in southern Gaza City and destroyed them. No serious injuries were reported.

    Attacking metal workshops and blacksmiths shops in the Gaza Strip came following a shelling by homemade medium range rockets that militants fired at targets in southern Israel. Enditem
