Bomb explosion in Cologne injures 16, police said

     BERLIN, June 9 (Xinhuanet)-- About 16 people were injured in an bomb blast in western German city of Cologne, one in critical condition, German news channel N-TV reported on Wednesday.

    The incident took place at a hair shop in a commercial street about 4 pm (local time), a local police spokesman said.

    It is "apparently an attack," N-TV reported. Enditem
