BAGHDAD, June 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Three people were killed when their vehicle was ambushed on the main road to Baghdad airport early Saturday, Qatar-based al-Jazeera TV channel reported.

    Two vehicles were completely charred and their windows smashed and US troops cordoned off the area west of Baghdad, according to the report.

    In eastern Baghdad earlier Saturday, a separate attack took place when a US military vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb and US military spokesman said there was one US soldier killed and three others wounded. Enditem
