Powerful blast hits market in Russian city of Samara

    MOSCOW, June 4 (Xinhuanet) -- A powerful explosion ripped through a market in central Russian city of Samara Friday, killing seven people, the ITAR-Tass news agency reported.

    The blast, caused by gas canisters, took place at a market in Samara, some 800 km southeast of Moscow, the report said. Enditem
