Urgent: More than 50 hurt in skyrocket explosion in

    BANGKOK, June 3 (Xinhuanet) -- More than 50 people were injured onThursday in a skyrocket festival in Northeastern Thailand when theskyrocket diverted from planned projectile.

    The accident taking place around 6:00 pm seriously wounded 14 people and more than 50 were slightly hurt, the state-run Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.

    TNA Thai service also reported that one person was killed by the skyrocket which exploded in the crowds other than in the sky, while the TNA English service reported that 24 people have been killed.

    Thai police in charge of the accident were unavailable to give confirmation. Enditem
