GAZA, June 3 (Xinhuanet) -- The Israeli army started using an ultra-red security machine for inspecting Palestinians at the northern Gaza Strip terminal of Eretz as of Monday, Palestinian security sources said Thursday.

    Director of the Gaza Strip passages Mahmoud Faraj told reportersthat the Israeli authorities had started using this technique to detect non-metals.

    "The Palestinian National Authority will send medical and technical crews to check if this machine has dangerous effects on human health," he said.

    A number of Palestinian workers who have to cross the Eretz passage to reach their workplaces inside Israel have been submittedto this new security check. They voiced fear of probable dangers ontheir health. Enditem
