URGENT: Bomb explosion kills police official in Afghanistan

    KABUL, June 1 (Xinhuanet) -- A bomb explosion killed a senior police official Tuesday in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad, local media reported.

    The official, Haji Ajab Shah, was killed by a bomb attached to his chair at the police headquarters of the city.

    It is not immediately known who had planted the bomb. Enditem
