Saudi security forces stormed compound with hostages and gunmen

    RIYADH, May 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Saudi security forces on early Sunday stormed a residential compound where some 50 foreign hostages were held by suspected al Qaeda militants in the eastern city of Khobar,the CNN reported.

    The CNN quoted witnesses as saying shots were heard as the militants and the security forces exchanged gunfire. On Saturday, the militants killed at least 16 people, including seven foreigners. Enditem
