Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Aqiyla Gomez (C), wins the final of the 16th Miss Model of the World contest. Ma Li from the Chinese mainland (2nd R) was crowned runner-up in the final in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, East China, May 28, 2004. Some 59 models from 59 countries and regions competed in the contest, with 8 of them gaining the first 8 awards of the 16th MMW.
