Moderate earthquake shakes S.Korea

    SEOUL, May 29 (Xinhuanet) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9shook South Korea on Saturday, but there was no immediate report of damage or casualty, reported South Korean Yonhap News Agency.

    The quake occurred at 7:20 p.m.(1020 GMT) Saturday in the sea off Uljin of North Gyeongsang Province, about 330 kilometers southeast of Seoul, the news agency said.

    It caused minor tremors across the country. But it was not known whether the earthquake caused damage or casualty, the reportsaid. Enditem
