GAZA, May 29 (Xinhuanet) -- A Palestinian lawmaker said Saturday dialogue among different factions and movements would be resumed inthe coming few days.

Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) member Ziad Abu Amer told reporters on Saturday that the dialogue aims at filling the vacuum that could be caused by a possible Israeli evacuation of the Gaza Strip.

"Talks will tackle previous disputes, such as leadership and decision-making mechanisms," Abu Amer said.

He stressed the necessity of reaching a national agreement to cope with the Israeli occupation and reject any form of US interference in Palestinian domestic issues.

"A number of factors urged us to resume the dialogue, and Ithink that failing in reaching an agreement will be harmful for theoverall Palestinian situation," he added.  Enditem
