    ISLAMABAD, May 29 (Xinhuanet)-- Pakistan on Saturday successfully test fired a medium range ballistic missile, said the military.

    A press release from the Interservice Public Relations (ISPR) of the military said the Hatf-5 (Ghauri) missile can hit a target 1,500 km away. The missile is capable of carrying nuclear warheads, it added.

    Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali witnessed the test fire, according to the press release.

    Neighboring countries had been given information about the testin advance, it said. Enditem
