| Israeli troops kill Palestinian farmer in Gaza |

GAZA, May 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli troops on the outskirts of Gush Katif settlement near the central Gaza Strip town of Dir El Ballah shot dead on Friday a Palestinian farmer and wounded another woman,Palestinian medics said.
The medics at Deir el Ballah Hospital said the soldiers shot dead Tayesser Abu Haddaf, a 34-year-old farmer, as he worked at his farm near the settlement.
Another Palestinian woman was injured and admitted into the hospital after she had been shot in the same incident, the medics said, adding that the soldiers opened fire indiscriminately at the area.
Meanwhile, the medics said three other Palestinians were shot and wounded by Israeli troops at the settlement of Nitzarim, south of Gaza City.
They said an Israeli army tank opened heavy gunfire at the area,wounding the three residents and destroying several houses.
In the devastated neighborhood of Tal al Sultan in Rafah town in southern Gaza, Israeli soldiers opened heavy fire at the houses, causing more damage. Enditem
