China reports 9.5 mln tourist arrivals in April

    BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhuanet) -- China's inbound tourism is growing drastically, as the country saw over 9.5 million tourist arrivals in April, an increase of 69 percent over the corresponding period of 2003, and 18.19 percent over 2002, the latest statistics of theNational Tourism Administration show.

    Foreign currency income reached over two billion US dollars in April, up 125.68 percent over 2003, and 14.31 percent over 2002, the administration said. Enditem
