UK parliament suspended after two objects thrown from public gallery

    LONDON, May 19 (Xinhuanet) -- The British House of Commons has been suspended after two objects were thrown from public gallery towards British Prime Minister Tony Blair during his speech on Wednesday.

    According to the Sky broadcaster, purple powder was thrown into the parliament, forcing Blair and British members of parliament to evacuate the chamber.

    Two men were removed from the gallery in the wake of the incident. More
