BEIJING, May 18, (Xinhuanet) -- The Jinying, or Golden Eagle, Cartoon Channel, the first of its kind in China, is expected to open in central Hunan Province this September.

    Officials said that at least 50 percent of air time of the channel will be used for cartoons.

    Meanwhile, shows geared towards teenagers will take up the rest of the time.

    The channel will be one of the three cartoon channels that are to be opened in China this year. Enditem
