CAIRO, May 9 (Xinhuanet) -- The postponed Arab summit
will be held on May 22-23 in Tunis, capital of Tunisia, Arab League Secretary
General Amr Moussa said here Sunday.
"The Arab summit will take place
on the agreed date, which has not changed," Moussa told a press conference after
the fourth working meeting of Arab foreign ministers.
The ministers on Sunday continued their meetings for the second
consecutive day to prepare for the coming Arab summit that had been
tentatively scheduled for May 22-23.
The summit of the 22-member Arab League, which had been scheduled on
March 29-30, was postponed by the host Tunisia due to differences
among Arab countries over regional situation and political reforms.
Following consultations among regional countries, Moussa announced
last month that most Arab leaders have agreed tore convene their
summit on May 22-23, still in Tunisia. Enditem
