Earthquake kills one in Pakistan

    KARACHI, May 9 (Xinhuanet)-- At least one person was killed and 30 others were injured in an earthquake on Sunday in southwestern Pakistan's Balochistan province.

    The state-run Pakistan Television (PTV) quoted metrological sources as saying that the tremors were felt in Quetta, the provincial capital, and other parts of the province.

    The intensity of the quake on Richter scale was recorded at 4.7 degrees.

    The injured were shifted to hospitals and most of them are in stable conditions, said PTV. Enditem
