HONG KONG, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Christian Dior (CD) Friday opened its largest flagship boutique in The Landmark, a high-grade shopping center in Hong Kong's Central District.

Taking the largest shop location at The Landmark, the two-story boutique occupies a purchasing space of 550 meters.

The new flagship shop, Dior's 7th boutique in Hong Kong, introduces the most comprehensive and largest ready-to-wear collections, leather goods and accessories, Baby Dior and Dior Joailliere (fine jewelry).

The Landmark will be the only location in Hong Kong to showcase fine jewelry from Paris.

Peter Cheung, regional and marketing communications manager at CD Asia Pacific, said the opening of the boutique showed the company's commitment to Hong Kong as a regional center for luxury.

He said the number of Chinese mainland customers to Dior boutiques in Hong Kong witnessed an enormous increase, and he believed that the number will continue to rise after the extension of the Individual Visit Scheme to more Chinese mainland cities. Enditem
