GAZA, May 5
(Xinhuanet) -- Israeli troops on Wednesday morning raided the Jewish settlement
of Kfar Darom in the central Gaza Strip, killing a 35-year-old Palestinian,
local sources said.
Medical sources said Abdallah al-Jammal, 35, was shot dead by Israeli troops gunfire in north of the
settlement of Kfar Darom east of the central Gaza Strip city of Deir El Ballah.
Palestinian security sources said the Israeli army backed
by bulldozers, tanks and armored vehicles stormed three Palestinian refugee
camps in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian witnesses said seven
tanks and four bulldozers raided the southern area of the Gaza Strip amid
opening intensive gunfire, wounding at least 10
Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said
at least 20 Israeli army tanks, bulldozers and armored vehicles raided
al-Barazil neighborhood in the town of Rafah between southern Gaza Strip and
Egypt.
They said the Israeli army forces also raided
western Khan Younis and destroyed at least 15 Palestinian owned houses.
