ISLAMABAD, May 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali Monday condemned "the act of terrorism" at Gwader Port Monday causing death of three Chinese engineers.

The Chinese engineers were working on a seaport project in Gawadar, about 500 kilometers west of Karachi, close to the borderwith Iran.

In a statement issued here Monday, the prime minister said suchterrorist acts shall not deter the two countries from their joint efforts for the development of the Gwader port.

He said those who were responsible for killing three innocent persons shall be traced soon and dealt with severely.

He also directed the government of Balochistan province, where the port is located, to beef-up their security measures and ensurethat no such incident will take place in future.

A bomb set up in a parked empty pickup blasted earlier on Monday, causing a passing-by bus damaged, leaving three Chinese engineers aboard killed, nine other Chinese engineers and two local employees injured. Enditem
