GAZA, April 29 (Xinhuanet) -- The Israeli army on Thursday destroyed by dynamites and bulldozers 13 Palestinian houses in the West Bank towns of Hebron and Nablus, local residents said.

The bulldozers of the Israeli civil administration in Hebron destroyed 11 Palestinian houses in an area called "Al Maghar" south of Hebron, residents of the area said.

They added that they have been facing the disturbance of the Israeli soldiers as "the Israeli authorities try so many ways in order to force the residents of the houses to leave."

Israel Radio quoted the Israel Army as saying that the 111 houses that were destroyed south of Hebron have been built without the license of the Israeli authorities.

Earlier in the day, the Israel Army also demolished two houses near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, owned by two Palestinians detained inside Israeli jails. Enditem
