MADRID, April 7 (Xinhuanet) -- The Spanish police made another arrest in the investigation of the Madrid train bombings, media reports said on Wednesday.

A suspect was arrested in the city of Toledo, some 80 kilometers south of capital city Madrid.

Spanish media reported Monday that the mastermind and the leader of the team which conducted the March 11 Madrid bombings were among the five suspects who blew themselves up to avoid beingcaptured in a police raid at the weekend.

The newspapers El Pais, ABC and Cadena Ser radio quoted sourcesclose to the probe as reporting that the bodies of Moroccan Jamal Ahmidan, who was believed to be the leader of the team and Tunisian Serhane Ben Abdelmajid Fakhet, mastermind of the bomb attacks, have been identified among those dead.

The bombings of four Madrid commuter trains on March 11, the deadliest terrorist attacks in Spain's history, killed 191 people and injured over 1,900. Enditem
