BEIJING, April 5 (Xinhuanet) -- The first typhoon to hit China this year, the Typhoon "Sudal", formed in the northwestern Pacificon Monday, according to the Central Meteorological Station.
The typhoon was monitored in the northwestern Pacific with the center at 8.4 degrees north latitude and 149.1 degrees east longitude at 8 a.m. Monday morning. The maximum wind reached forceeight near the center and is moving westwards at a speed of five kilometers per hour, according to weather forecaster Zhou Qingliang. Enditem |
