BERLIN, March 23 (Xinhuanet) -- German President Johannes Rau canceled his planned visit to Djibouti on Wednesday due to "urgentterror warnings," security officials said here Tuesday.

    The president was scheduled to visit the African country to see German soldiers stationed there.

    Rau, who is currently visiting Tanzanian capital Daressalam, said on Tuesday that first warnings occurred two days ago, German news channel N-TV reported.
