GAZA, March 14 (Xinhuanet) -- The two Palestinians who carried out a coordinated double suicide bombing attack in the Israeli seaport of Ashdod Sunday were residents of the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian masked young men said through megaphones on the streets of the refugee camp that Ezzedine Al Qassam, the armed wing of Hamas, and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades affiliated with the Fatah movement carried out the attacks jointly at the port, killing at least nine people and injuring 19 others.
They identified the two bombers as Mohamed Salem and Nabil Mas'oud, both of whom were from the Jabalya refugee camp, the biggest Palestinian refugee camp in the Middle East.
They said that a leaflet would be issued soon with more details, adding that the attack "is a continuation of armed resistance and arevenge for the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people." Enditem
