Greek new government sworn in

    ATHENS, March 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Greece's new conservative government headed by Costas Karamanlis was sworn in by President Kostis Stephanopoulos on Wednesday morning in the Greek Presidential Palace.

    The New Democracy party, under the leadership of Karamanlis, returned to power after 11 years in opposition after a landslide victory in Greek general elections on Sunday, winning 165 seats inthe 300-seat parliament. Enditem
