Chinese diver wins World Cup men's platform title

    BERLIN, Mar. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Luo Yutong of China won the men's platform event at the World Cup diving tournament in Rostock, Germany, on Sunday.

    Luo scored 528.21 points to beat Heiko Meyer of Germany and Leon Taylor of Britain.

    Germany's Ditte Kotzian and Conny Schmalfuss won the women's three-meter springboard synchronized event for the third straight year, and German pair Tobais Schellenberg and Andreas Wels won themen's title.

    Kotzian and Schmalfuss scored 311.40 points, against 298.02 scored by Chinese Yao Xinyi and Yang Yuting.

    Russians Natalya Umyskova and Anna Looze were third.

    Schellenberg and Wels collected 342.33 points to edge Huang Qiang and Chen Jiaming of China, who scored 339.12. Enditem
