300 movies to be showcased at HK film festival

    BEIJING, Mar. 5, (Xinhuanet) -- Nearly 300 movies from more than 40 countries and regions will be screened at the HK International Film Festival. The movie show is scheduled to run from the 6th to the 20th of April.

    The festival will show many internationally acclaimed and award-winning films, such as "The Barbarian Invasions" which just won the Best Foreign Film award at the Oscars.

    The annual festival will also feature several retrospectives and tributes to some of the greatest film personalities, including the local movie stars Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui, who passed away last year. Enditem
