BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhuanet) -- A spokesperson for the second session of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) said Thursday morning that the Chinese legislature would continue to support the country's anti-graft campaign with more legislation aimed at preventing and eliminating corruption.

"While checking the sources of corruption through legislation, the NPC will also strengthen its supervision on governments, courts and procuratorates," said Jiang Enzhu at a press conferenceon the NPC session slated to open here Friday.

The top legislative body has revised the country's Criminal Law to provide a legal guarantee for the fight against corruption, and has enacted laws such as the Administrative Review Law, Government Procurement Law and Administrative Licensing Law to normalize government behavior, said Jiang.

"The people's congresses could also fulfill its duty of supervision on governments, courts and procuratorates by means of making inquiries, making comments and carrying out law enforcementinspections," he said. "We'll also strengthen our efforts to examine government reports and step up supervision on budget reports to help government exert administrative power according to law." Enditem
