Six-party talks to continue on Saturday

    BEIJING, Feb. 27 (Xinhuanet) -- The on going six-party talks on the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula is to continue on Saturday, a Chinese official said here Friday.

    Liu Jianchao, member of the Chinese delegation and deputy director-general of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Information Department, said the date of the conclusion of the open-ended talks is yet to be set.

    China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the United States, the Republic of Korea (ROK), Russia and Japan are at the second round of the talks in Beijing. Enditem
