Britain's largest aircraft carrier "Ark Royal" anchors at
Greenwich Port in downtown London, February 25. "Ark Royal",
upon completing repair and drill, is in London for a
six-day visit. Built and went into service in 1985, "Ark Royal"
is 210 meters long, with a maximum beam of 36 metres (117 feet) and a
displacement of 20,000 tonnes. She can host a maximum of 100
aircrafts on board. Once participated in Iraq War, she is one of
three aircraft carriers in commission in Britain. (Xinhua
