Aircraft carrier Ark Royal sails into London

     Britain's largest aircraft carrier "Ark Royal" anchors at Greenwich Port in downtown London, February 25. "Ark Royal", upon completing repair and drill, is in London for a six-day visit. Built and went into service in 1985, "Ark Royal" is 210 meters long, with a maximum beam of 36 metres (117 feet) and a displacement of 20,000 tonnes. She can host a maximum of 100 aircrafts on board. Once participated in Iraq War, she is one of three aircraft carriers in commission in Britain. (Xinhua Photo)
