Pakistan launches operation on hideout of al-Qaida suspects

    ISLAMABAD, Feb. 24 (Xinhuanet) - Pakistani troops on Tuesday morning launched an offensive against a hideout of al-Qaida and Taliban suspects near the Afghan border, Information Minister Sheikh Rashid were quoted as saying by news agencies.

    Rashid confirmed that the Pakistani forces have started the operation against "foreign terrorists" in the remote northwestern tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Enditem
