BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Sedans produced by the SAIC Chery Automobile Company, a domestic brand car manufacturer, have been appointed for special use in the upcoming annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

    The annual sessions of the NPC, China's top legislative body, and CPPCC, a broad-based national advisory organization, draw much attention from the press home and abroad every year.

    SAIC Chery has been ranked as the eighth biggest automaker in China, statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed. The car price is about 160,000 yuan (19,000 US dollars). Enditem
