HANOI, Feb. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Vietnam's Ministry of Health has informed WHO that two more cases of H5N1 people infections have been confirmed in the country, according to a press release by theRepresentative Office of World Health Organization(WHO) in Vietnamon Thursday.
Both cases were young women, aged 16 and 17, and both were from the south of the country. The 16-year-old was from Soc Trang province, and died on Feb. 3 in Ho Chi Minh City's Hospital for Tropical Disease. The other was from Tay Ninh province, and died in Cho Ray Hospital, in Ho Chi Minh City, on Jan. 27.
These cases bring the number of confirmed H5N1 infections to 15in Vietnam. Of those, 11 have died, two have recovered and two remain hospitalized. Enditem
