MOSCOW, Feb. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- A woman was killed and a number of others were injured in a car bombing Tuesday evening in a southern Russian city, Itar-Tass news agency reported.
The explosion went off at 5:15 p.m. Moscow time (1415 GMT) nearthe central marketplace of Vladikavkaz in North Ossetia, which borders Russia's restive republic of Chechnya to the west, the Public Relations Department of the Federal Security Service was quoted as saying.
The blast took place in one of the three vehicles parked near asecondary school and a governmental office building. Several passersby and some Russian soldiers were injured. Enditem
