Chinese president arrives in Algeria for state visit

    ALGIERS, Feb. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived here Tuesday afternoon to begin a two-day state visit to Algeria at the invitation of his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

    During his visit, the Chinese leader will hold talks with his Algerian counterpart and other leaders in the north African country.

    Algeria is the last leg of the Chinese president's four-nation tour, which has taken him to France, Egypt and Gabon. Enditem
