Members of an inspection team, comprised of experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and the government of Guangdong province, supervise the sterilization and quarantine treatment in a bird flu infected area in Chao'an County, south China's Guangdong Province, Feb. 1, 2004. The local governments forced sweeping slaughter and quarantine measures immediately and sent in related samples to the Harbin-based National Bird Flu Reference Laboratory after a suspected case of bird flu was found in the county on Saturday.
