www.chinaview.cn 2004-01-31 08:12:58

Two workers throw a quail into the bag to be buried in a farm in Wugang City, central China's Hunan Province, Jan. 30. Since the epidemic of bird flu was spotted, local governments enforced sweeping poultry culling and prompt quarantine measures. All the 132,000 poultry within a three kilometer radius of the poultry farm have been slaughtered, and all poultry within eight kilometers of the farm being vaccinated. (Xinhua photo)
