Two shot dead in mosque in Germany

    BERLIN, Jan. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- A 59-year-old man shot dead two other men in a mosque after morning prayers in Germany's western town of Gelsenkirchen Monday, police said.

    The killer, whose name was not released, was arrested in his nearby apartment shortly after the killing incident, police said, adding that he offered no resistance.

    The police also said the three involved in the killing incidentwere all of Turkish origin and the motive of the killing was unknown yet. Enditem
