    HONG KONG, Dec. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Hong Kong pop star Anita Mui, well known in Chinese communities around the world, died of cancerat 2:50 a.m. local time Tuesday in Hong Kong.

    The 40-year-old pop star, who was confirmed in October of cervical cancer, reentered a local hospital Monday due to worsening condition.

    Mui, who shot to stardom after 1982, continued to work as normal during her treatment, and held a series of vocal concerts in November. Enditem
