Pentagon official confirms capture of Saddam

    WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Ousted former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has been captured by US forces in a raid near Tikrit, Saddam's hometown, agencies reports quoted a senior Pentagon official as saying on Sunday.
