BEIJING, Oct. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- China has published a photo biography of late Chairman Mao Zedong to commemorate the 110th anniversary of his birth on Dec.26.

    The pictorial features more than 1,800 pictures related to the late chairman with brief captions.

    Arranged in chronological order, the picture book elaborates on variousperiods of Chairman Mao's life, including his childhood, youth, revolutionary work and his later years.

    The picture book was compiled by the Party Literature Research Center of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and will be released across the nation.

    Mao Zedong, the founder of the CPC and new China, was born in 1893 and passed away on Sept. 9, 1976, He dedicated his whole life to the Chineserevolution and liberation of the Chinese people. Enditem
