BAGHDAD, Dec. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Three US troops were killed and another injured when an embankment collapsed under their vehicles north of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, a spokesman for the US forces in Iraq said on Tuesday.

    The vehicles rolled over into a canal when the embankment collapsed late Monday, some 90 km north of Baghdad, the spokesman said. "The accident was not a result of hostile action."

    The spokesman said the troops belonged to the 2nd Infantry Division's 3rd Brigade. Enditem
