กกFatah says rejects violence against Geneva architects

    GAZA, Dec. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- The Fatah movement chaired byPalestinian leader Yasser Arafat announced Sunday that it rejects the use of threat, accusation or violence against the architects of recently signed Geneva initiative.

    The Geneva initiative is an unofficial document and the onlylegal authority in the Palestinian territories remains the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the movement said in acommunique.

    The movement reiterated its commitment to the Palestinians'right of resisting the occupation and ending all kinds of Israeli occupation, as well as the refugees' right of return and the independence of the Palestinian territories.

    The communique also called on the Palestinians to "tighten ranksand stand united by the Palestinian national project and historical rights. Enditem
